Amex GBT is seeking a Senior Operations Manager for Meetings & Events across Spain & Italy. You will lead operational excellence, align regional teams with global standards, and drive multi-market event delivery with a focus on P&L, processes, and compliance.

You will coach Team Leaders, foster accountability, and partner with stakeholders worldwide. Fluency in Spanish and English is essential; Italian is a plus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in event agency operations/production.
• Fluent in Spanish, English; Italian a plus.
• Proven ability to manage large, multi-country teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and external communication skills.
• Leader in the event/communications industry with a wide network.

Responsabilités

• Drive operational excellence, ensure high-quality event delivery, manage P&L, optimize processes, and ensure compliance across Spain & Italy.
• Coach and develop Team Leaders; foster accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement across the region.
• Lead transformation initiatives (process harmonization, new tools, AI adoption) and drive organizational change.
• Serve as senior escalation point for major clients; ensure delivery aligns with expectations; act as trusted advisor.
• Act as agency ambassador in Spanish & Italian markets; build relationships with media, associations and thought leaders.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and international peers to align with global standards and multi-market delivery.
• Drive operational efficiency, project delivery quality, employee engagement and client satisfaction profitability.
