Docplanner is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to own the Payments area and drive the team to the next level, balancing hands-on coding with leadership. You will oversee 7–9 engineers and partner with Product and Design to move fast from idea to validated value.

You will lead with an founder mindset, shipping features, improving performance, and delivering high-quality payments outcomes while keeping the team focused and empowered in a remote-friendly, hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 4+ years leading engineering teams in product companies.
• Hands-on experience using AI to speed up coding and reviews.
• Founder mindset: fast experiments and data-driven pivots.
• Fluent English in a multinational team.

Responsibilities

• Own performance management for the team with clear goals and reviews.
• Level up engineers through coaching, growth plans and code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to decide investments and bets.
• Stay hands-on in the codebase while guiding architectural changes.
• Maintain AI-native practices and measure delivery impact with metrics.
