Peek & Cloppenburg* Düsseldorf is seeking a Logistics Specialist to manage supply chains at their Madrid hub. The role includes ensuring timely deliveries, optimizing logistics processes, and collaborating across functions.

Formación

• 3–5 years of professional experience in logistics, ideally in retail.
• Strong understanding of global supply chain networks.
• Good command of English, knowledge of German is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Establishing seamless interface management between teams.
• Ensuring on-time product deliveries with efficient logistics.
• Forecasting and monitoring deliveries from non-EU countries.
• Optimizing strategic capacity planning at export harbors.
• Advising the Buying department on transport modes.
• Contributing to cross-functional projects for process optimization.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Seamless interface management: establish and nurture the central link between the Private Label organization and Supply Chain Management teams.
• Reliable logistics steering: ensure on‑time product deliveries using efficient logistics pathways and monitoring delivery schedules.
• Global delivery forecasting: forecast and monitor all incoming deliveries from non‑EU countries, keeping a close eye on goods‑receipt deadlines at origin and destination.
• Strategic capacity planning: plan international deliveries and optimize capacity utilization at export harbors and our central import hub.
• Internal buying consultancy: advise the Buying department on selecting optimal modes of transport and sourcing efficient loading options.
• Continuous process optimisation: actively contribute to cross‑functional projects to optimise the daily supply‑chain and logistics processes.

What We Are Looking For

Your Educational Background

You have successfully completed a logistics, commercial, or business‑focused education or degree, providing a solid understanding of global supply‑chain networks.

Your Strengths

You possess a highly structured, reliable mindset, strong communication skills across different teams, and a proactive approach to identifying transport and loading optimisations.

Your Profile

You bring 3–5 years of professional experience in logistics, ideally within a retail environment, speak fluent Spanish and English (German is a great asset) and thrive in a dynamic team setting to streamline international goods management.
