PropHero in Madrid is recruiting an Operations Intern to be the internal first point of contact for day-to-day operational support, ensuring teams across Madrid and Valencia can work smoothly and without bottlenecks. You will resolve issues quickly, identify inefficiencies, and design processes, tools, and documentation that streamline workflows.

This hands-on role operates within the standards set by Operations and DevOps/Security functions and offers growth in a fast-growing AI startup.

Formación

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.
• Ability to understand operational workflows and identify inefficiencies.
• Comfortable resolving basic Windows/macOS issues and managing access workflows.
• Service-oriented, strong communicator, proactive, and focused on continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Operational support & workflow efficiency: Manage and prioritize the internal request queue, resolving blockers promptly and keeping employees informed.
• Process optimization & continuous improvement: Map existing workflows, detect inefficiencies, and propose improvements.
• Device & access operations: Coordinate the operational lifecycle of devices and access.
• SaaS & tooling administration: Maintain an up-to-date inventory of tools and licenses, optimize usage.
• Security & compliance operations: Support the execution of security best practices from an operational standpoint.

Mission

Act as the internal first point of contact for day‑to‑day operational support, ensuring teams (~130 employees across Madrid and Valencia) can work smoothly and without bottlenecks. Maintain productivity by resolving issues quickly, identifying inefficiencies, and designing processes, tools, and documentation that streamline workflows and prevent recurring problems. This is a hands‑on, execution‑focused role operating within the standards set by the Operations and DevOps/Security functions.

Key responsibilities

Operational support & workflow efficiency Manage and prioritize the internal request queue, resolving blockers promptly and keeping employees informed. Identify patterns, friction points, and opportunities for automation to reduce turnaround times and improve the internal user experience.

Process optimization & continuous improvement Map existing workflows, detect inefficiencies, and propose improvements. Implement more agile processes for repetitive tasks (access requests, internal operations, onboarding/offboarding), document procedures, and contribute to building tools that help the company scale without increasing operational load.

Device & access operations Coordinate the operational lifecycle of devices and access: provisioning, configuration, retrieval, and execution of joiner–mover–leaver actions. Ensure accounts, permissions, and access rights follow the processes defined by HR and DevOps/Security.

SaaS & tooling administration Maintain an up‑to‑date inventory of tools and licenses, optimize usage, reclaim unused seats, and flag unmanaged or shadow IT. Ensure order, efficiency, and control across the operational tooling ecosystem.

Security & compliance operations Support the execution of security best practices from an operational standpoint: baseline compliance, MFA enrollment, awareness campaigns, and process adherence. Ensure workflows meet the standards defined by the security function.

Explicitly out of scope

Network and security architecture; vendor contract or SLA negotiation; strategic tooling decisions; disaster‑recovery ownership; and security policy definition. This role executes and optimizes processes within the framework defined by Operations and DevOps/Security.

Requirements
