Job summary

GoStudent Madrid is seeking an Operations Intern to gain hands-on experience in People Operations while helping the business expand. You'll support onboarding, contracts, data maintenance, and cross-functional coordination in a fast-paced, international environment.

You'll learn about HR processes, expansion activities, vendor coordination, and study center development, working with teams across Madrid, Milan, and Vienna.

About The Role

We are looking for an Operations Intern who is eager to gain hands‑on experience in People Operations (HR) while being exposed to how a business expands physically.

This internship is designed as a learning experience, ideal for students who want to develop practical skills in a dynamic, international environment and be part of building something from the ground up.

What You'll Learn & Support

People Operations (HR) exposure

• Support onboarding and administrative processes for new hires
• Assist with employee documentation (contracts, amendments) and payroll checks
• Maintain and update data across HR and finance systems
• Act as a support point of contact for employees and internal stakeholders

Operations & Expansion exposure

• Support the team in the process of opening new study centers
• Assist in coordinating facilities, vendors, and basic operational needs
• Help ensure smooth communication between internal teams and external partners
• Contribute to ongoing projects related to study center development

Cross-functional collaboration

• Work closely with People Operations (HR) and RevOps / Expansion teams
• Learn how operational and people‑related decisions support business growth

Who This Internship Is For

• Students currently enrolled in Business Administration (ADE), Psychology, HR, or related fields
• Looking to build a career in People Operations / HR, with exposure to business operations
• Able to sign an internship agreement with a university or educational institution

What We're Looking For

• Initial experience (internships or part‑time roles) in People Administration, Office Management, or similar administrative environments
• Exposure to logistics, coordination, vendors, or facilities is a plus
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent communication skills and a people‑oriented mindset
• Stakeholder mindset: curiosity and interest in understanding business needs and collaborating with different teams
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment
