GMV in Tres Cantos, Spain is seeking software engineers for developing a prototype receiver for Galileo. You will work with embedded Linux, focusing on driver programming and low-level debugging. Candidates should have knowledge in C Language and familiarity with tools like Petalinux and Docker. The role offers a hybrid working model, flexible hours, personalized training, and comprehensive wellbeing programs including health insurance and a wellbeing program.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

In our team you will participate in the development of a prototype receiver for the evolution of Galileo. Working with ARM+FPGA and Linux embedded systems, focused on drivers, tools and operating system support. Looking to cover both low level development tasks and integration with the software team.

Duties:

• Driver programming with UIO, device tree management (DTB).
• DMA programming, low-level debugging.
• Use of embedded Linux (Buildroot/Petalinux).
• Support to the software team in aspects of the operating system.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

For this position, we are looking for software engineers with knowledge of C Language, Embedded Linux.

We will also value knowledge of Petalinux/yocto, Linux kernel module programming, ARM assembler, UIO, DTB, Git/CI with Gitlab and Docker, Linux low level configuration, Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
