GMV Spain is expanding its Defence and Security team to advance aerospace navigation and embedded systems. You will help develop and integrate embedded software and hardware, testing real-time functions and state machines on FPGA-based hardware.

We value graduates in Computer/Telecommunications/Aerospace Engineering with interests in C/C++, GNSS and RTOS, plus exposure to embedded Linux and SIL/HIL environments.

Formación

• Graduates in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related disciplines, with an interest in embedded systems and C/C++ for aerospace applications.
• Knowledge or experience in navigation systems, GNSS, inertial sensors, sensor fusion, FPGA, embedded Linux, RTOS, SIL/HIL environments, and real-time systems.
• Interest in verification processes and working on aerospace Defence R&D projects.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and integrate embedded software and hardware functions for Defence aerospace programmes.
• Develop and test embedded software in C and C++, work with FPGA-based systems and target hardware.
• Contribute to integration, testing, verification and technical documentation.

We are expanding our teams in the Defence and Security sector to take on aerospace R&D projects, developing and productising increasingly robust and resilient navigation solutions and embedded systems.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

In our team, you will contribute to the development and integration of embedded software and hardware functions for Defence aerospace programmes, working alongside experienced engineers and under the guidance of the Technical Product Lead to turn R&D technologies into real-world solutions.

You will develop and test embedded software functions in C and C++, work with FPGA-based systems and target hardware, and implement real-time functions and state machines. You will also contribute to integration, testing, verification and technical documentation.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

For this position, we are looking for graduates in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related disciplines, with an interest in embedded systems, C/C++ programming and the development of technology for aerospace applications.

We will also value knowledge or experience in navigation systems, GNSS, inertial sensors, sensor fusion, FPGA, embedded Linux, RTOS, simulation or SIL/HIL environments, as well as an interest in real-time systems, synchronisation and verification processes.
