Job summary

Chubb External in Madrid is seeking an Underwriter Operations Technician – Offline to support end-to-end offline underwriting activities. You will help ensure accurate data handling and high service delivery within SLAs, while preparing policy documentation and underwriting files to meet quality and audit standards.

You'll manage broker and internal queries, support QA and reporting, participate in testing of new tools, and collaborate with local teams and the wider operations group to maintain

Responsibilities

• Support offline underwriting operations and language-dependent branch activities.
• Enter data into underwriting and other business systems accurately and within SLA.
• Prepare policy documentation and underwriting files to meet quality and audit standards.
• Manage broker and internal queries, including credit control support and issue resolution.
• Support QA, reporting, and operational process improvements.
• Assist with system testing, user acceptance testing, and new business tools.
• Work closely with local teams, brokers, and the wider operations team to deliver excellent service.
