Job summary

Chubb European Group Ltd. in Madrid is seeking an Underwriter Operations Technician – Offline (French Speaking) for a 12-month FTC to support offline underwriting operations in the UWR Centre.

You will enter data, prepare documentation, and help deliver accurate service within SLA. The role requires fluency in English and French, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and with local teams.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Fluent English and French; other European languages are a plus.
• Insurance experience is desirable with a desire to grow in the industry.
• Excellent attention to detail and customer service mindset.
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, solution-oriented approach and willingness to learn new systems.
• Proficient in Ms Excel and AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Support offline underwriting operations and language-dependent branch activities.
• Enter data into underwriting and other business systems accurately and within SLA.
• Prepare policy documentation and underwriting files to meet quality and audit standards.
• Manage broker and internal queries, including credit control support and issue resolution.
• Support QA, reporting, and operational process improvements.
• Assist with system testing, user acceptance testing, and new business tools.
• Collaborate with local teams, brokers, and the wider operations team to deliver excellent service.
