Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra Mallorca is seeking a Night Auditor to join our Front Office team. The role covers nightly audit procedures, revenue reconciliation, and guest service during night hours. You will ensure a smooth check-in/check-out process and produce end-of-day reports.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in Front Office or luxury hospitality, fluent English and Spanish, and flexibility to work nights while maintaining impeccable grooming and professionalism.

• Proficient English and Spanish communication.
• Willingness to work night shifts and uphold grooming standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a flawless check-in/check-out process.
• Answer calls with clear communication and assist callers.
• Generate and distribute end-of-day financial reports to relevant departments.
• Verify accuracy of guest folios, room charges and postings; correct discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Security and Night Manager during emergencies or incidents.
• Respond to guest inquiries during the night shift with prompt, courteous service.
• Prepare Front Desk for the next day; ensure systems and documentation are up to date.
• Perform other duties as required by the Night Manager.

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, within the Front Office Department, the Night Auditor is responsible for performing nightly audit procedures, reconciling daily revenue, charges and transactions.

As Night Auditor, you will beresponsiblefor the following dutie s:

• Ensuring a flawless check‑in/check‑out process.

• Answering the telephone in the utmost clarity, offering assistance to internal and external callers.

• Generating and distributing end‑of‑day financial reports to relevant departments and management.

• Verifying accuracy of guest folios, room charges, postings and correcting any discrepancies.

• Coordinating with Security and the Night Manager in case of emergencies or incidents.

• Responding to guest inquiries or issues during the night shift, ensuring prompt and courteous service.

• Preparing the Front Desk for the following day, ensuring systems and documentation are updated.

• Performing any other reasonable duties as required by the Night Manager.

As Night Auditor, weexpectfrom you:

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Front Office operations, or high‑end hospitality environment.

• Effective communication skills in English and Spanish (additional languages are a plus).

• Willingness and flexibility to work night shifts.

• Well‑groomed appearance, adhering to the hotel’s grooming standards.

• Basic IT skills, with solid knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Familiarity of hotel management systems (e.g., HMS, Opera, Fidelio, or similar PMS).

• An independent and proactive approach.

• High attention to detail and a strong focus on maintaining quality service and operational excellence.

• Legal authorization to work in Spain.
