Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra Mallorca is seeking a Night Auditor to join the Front Office team. The role covers nightly audit procedures, reconciling revenues, and ensuring a smooth guest experience during overnight hours.

Based at the Mallorca property, the Night Auditor will handle check-ins/outs, prepare end-of-day reports, verify guest charges, and collaborate with Security and the Night Manager in emergencies. Strong English and Spanish, IT basics, and PMS familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Front Office operations or high-end hospitality environment.
• Effective communication skills in English and Spanish (additional languages are a plus).
• Willingness and flexibility to work night shifts.
• Well-groomed appearance, adhering to the hotel’s grooming standards.
• Basic IT skills with knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with hotel management systems (e.g., HMS, Opera, Fidelio, or similar PMS).
• Independent and proactive approach.
• High attention to detail and focus on quality service and operational excellence.
• Legal authorization to work in Spain.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring a flawless check-in/check-out process.
• Answering the telephone clearly to assist internal and external callers.
• Generating and distributing end-of-day financial reports to relevant departments and management.
• Verifying accuracy of guest folios, room charges, postings and correcting discrepancies.
• Coordinating with Security and the Night Manager in case of emergencies or incidents.
• Responding to guest inquiries or issues during the night shift, ensuring prompt and courteous service.
• Preparing the Front Desk for the following day, updating systems and documentation.
• Performing other duties as required by the Night Manager.

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, within the Front Office Department, the Night Auditor is responsible for performing nightly audit procedures, reconciling daily revenue, charges and transactions.

As Night Auditor, you will beresponsiblefor the following dutie s:

• Ensuring a flawless check‑in/check‑out process.

• Answering the telephone in the utmost clarity, offering assistance to internal and external callers.

• Generating and distributing end‑of‑day financial reports to relevant departments and management.

• Verifying accuracy of guest folios, room charges, postings and correcting any discrepancies.

• Coordinating with Security and the Night Manager in case of emergencies or incidents.

• Responding to guest inquiries or issues during the night shift, ensuring prompt and courteous service.

• Preparing the Front Desk for the following day, ensuring systems and documentation are updated.

• Performing any other reasonable duties as required by the Night Manager.

As Night Auditor, weexpectfrom you:
