UST is seeking top talent in Madrid for a Senior .NET software engineer. You will design, build and maintain high-quality .NET components across the full SDLC, taking ownership of complex platform modules and delivering robust, scalable solutions.

You will collaborate with trading, product, architecture and infrastructure teams and contribute to automated testing, observability and secure coding practices. Ideal candidates have expert C#/.NET experience, strong OOP/SOLID/Clean Architecture, and

• Advanced English (C1 level mandatory).
• Expert-level C# and .NET/.NET Core experience.
• Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles and Clean Architecture.
• Experience designing ASP.NET Core Web APIs and RESTful services in production.
• Advanced understanding of multithreading, asynchronous programming, performance tuning and distributed systems.
• Proven experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data modelling and operational support.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
• Designing and delivering API-based microservices and SOA.
• Strong discipline around automated testing: Unit/Integration Testing, BDD, NUnit, Mockito, Cucumber.
• Experience with messaging/event-driven architectures: RabbitMQ, TIBCO, SignalR.
• CI/CD practices and source control tools: Git, TeamCity

Main Tasks And Accountabilities Will Be

• Design, build and maintain high-quality .NET software components across the full software delivery lifecycle.
• Take hands-on ownership of technically complex platform components, ensuring they are robust, maintainable, scalable and well documented.
• Apply strong engineering judgement to architecture, design, implementation, testing and operational considerations.
• Work closely with trading, product, architecture, infrastructure and partner technology teams to deliver solutions aligned to business priorities.
• Contribute to strong engineering practices including automated testing, observability, secure coding, CI/CD and effective release management.

What UST expects from you?

• Advanced English (C1 level mandatory).
• Expert-level C# and .NET/.NET Core experience.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOP), SOLID principles and Clean Architecture.
• Strong experience designing, building and supporting ASP.NET Core Web APIs and RESTful services in production environments.
• Advanced understanding of multithreading, asynchronous programming, performance tuning and distributed systems.
• Proven experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including data modelling, performance considerations and operational support.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
• Strong experience designing and delivering API-based microservices and Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA).
• Strong discipline around automated testing: Unit Testing, Integration Testing, BDD, NUnit, Mockito, Cucumber

• Strong experience with CI/CD practices and source control tools:Git, TeamCity
