Universitat Pompeu Fabra’s Nanomedicine lab at UPF-MELIS seeks a candidate to study tuning nanoparticle interfaces for predictable target recognition. You will explore how nanoparticle properties and antibody organization govern molecular recognition using SPR, DNA-PAINT, and qPAINT in a collaborative setting with IQAC-CSIC.

The role focuses on experimental development and quantitative characterization, with a strong emphasis on nanomaterial engineering and quantitative biophysics.

Formación

• High school or FP2 diploma is required.
• Master’s degree in Nanoscience, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Biomedicine, Physics, or related field is required.
• Strong academic record and interest in nanomedicine.

Responsabilidades

• Develop experimental and quantitative characterization of antibody-functionalized nanoparticles.
• Use SPR, DNA-PAINT and qPAINT to investigate how nanoparticle design and antibody nano-organization regulate target recognition.
• Collaborate with Nanomedicine lab at UPF-MELIS and IQAC-CSIC on advanced microscopy techniques.
