Job summary

ICN2 in Barcelona invites applications for a Research Assistant in the Nanobioelectronics and Biosensors group. The successful candidate will support the development of nanomaterial-based biosensing platforms for biomedical applications.

The ideal applicant has a Biochemistry degree and a Master in Biotechnology or Chemistry, strong English, and hands-on experience with electrochemical measurements and biosensors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Biochemistry and a Master in Biotechnology/Chemistry.
• Proficient in English.
• Experience in electrochemical measurements and biosensors.
• Ability to work under deadlines and in an international team.

Responsibilities

• Support development and optimization of nanomaterial-based biosensing platforms for biomedical applications.
• Fabricate, functionalize, and characterize sensing interfaces.
• Prepare biomolecular recognition elements and perform electrochemical testing.
• Analyze data, validate sensing platforms, and maintain lab records.
