Dematic AS a global leader in automated technology seeks an MU Control Engineer to design and implement controls software for MU projects, including repairs and upgrades, with on-site customer support.

Responsibilities include PLC development, visualization, testing and commissioning, and interpretation of electrical drawings. Occasional travel (30–40%) is required, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualificações

• Experience in Electrical/Mechatronics/Controls engineering.
• Hands-on experience in industrial automation.
• Knowledge of PLC development tools (Siemens, Rockwell).
• Ability to read electrical schematics and drawings.
• Willingness to travel 30–40%.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver the assigned project scope and tasks by meeting/exceeding safety, quality, On-Time-Delivery and budget requirements.
• Provide Support to our customers.
• To produce PLC software and/or visualization systems.
• To emulate and test PLC software.
• To interpret electrical schematics and design input information.
• To commission controls systems on-site including electrical and PLC software commissioning and to provide support to system test activities and training for the end user
• To produce commissioning documentation including, but not limited to, commissioning checklists, test specifications,
• Provide technical guidance.
• To maintain of all associated documentation including, but not limited to, design calculations, design specifications, Method Statements and Risk Assessments, operation and maintenance manuals, and test specifications.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in Electrical/Mechatronics/Controls Engineering as a minimum.
• Extensive proven hands-on experience working within an industrial automation environment.
• Understanding of PLC development tools (Siemens, Rockwell…)
• Good understanding of Electrical and Electronic technical manuals & drawings.
• Understanding of design requirements such as Machine Directive and its standards including safety standards.
• Good understanding of distributed control systems.
• Extensive understanding of software testing and emulation.
• Understanding of automated warehouse desirable not essential.

• Willing to do small R&D topic.
• Full driver’s license to support the travel requirements of the role (30-40%).
