Dematic in Spain is seeking a Controls Commissioning Engineer to perform electrical and PLC software commissioning on automated warehouse systems at customer sites. This hands-on role requires travel and the ability to bring complex automation projects into operation safely and on time.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop practical skills in industrial automation, and contribute to commissioning on-site and post-go-live support.

Formación

• Experience in a similar role.
• Good understanding of PLC, HMI, SCADA development and commissioning software.
• Hands-on experience with electrical commissioning.
• Ability to travel to customer sites domestically and internationally (60-80%).
• Full driving license to support travel requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Complete pre-commissioning (electrical commissioning) of standard Dematic solutions, per discipline.
• Participate in pre-commissioning of non-standard/third-party solutions under guidance and supervision.
• Participate in the design of semi-complex systems that integrate hardware and software.
• Participate in recommending ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction and improvement in customer satisfaction.
• Lead commissioning/design efforts for semi-complex areas with assistance.
• Participates in the PLC software design.
• Participate in commissioning on-site.
• Participate in software PLC emulation development and testing of semi-complex systems.
• Participation in Hotline support.
• Participate in host integration and post-go-live support on site

Tasks and Qualifications:

• Complete pre-commissioning (electrical commissioning) of standard Dematic solutions, per discipline.

• To promote personal and business continuous improvement and development of processes to achieve improved time cost and quality or project delivery.
• Lead commissioning/design efforts for semi-complex areas with assitance.
• Participates in the PLC software design
• Participate in commissioning on-site
• Participate in software PLC emulation development and testing of semi-complex systems
• Participation in Hotline support
• Participate in host integration and postgolive support on site

Requirements:

• Studies related to Electrical/Controls Engineering
• Experience in a similar role
• Good understanding of PLC, HMI, SCADA development and commissioning software
• Hands‑on experience with electrical commissioning.
• Good understanding of Electrical and Electronic technical manuals & drawings
• Understanding of distributed control systems desirable not essential
• Understanding of automated warehouse desirable not essential
• Ability to travel to customer sites, both domestically and internationally (60-80%).
• Full driver’s license to support the travel requirements of the role.
