Dematic, a global leader in intelligent intralogistics, is seeking a Controls Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Spain. This hands-on role focuses on electrical and PLC software commissioning on automated warehouse and material handling systems at customer sites, with international travel.

You will work with cutting-edge automation technologies to bring complex solutions into operation safely, on time, and to specification, while contributing to productivity improvements and customer

Formación

• Studies related to Electrical/Controls Engineering.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Strong PLC, HMI, SCADA development and commissioning experience.
• Hands-on electrical commissioning experience.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic manuals & drawings.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (60-80%).
• Full driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Complete pre-commissioning (electrical commissioning) of standard Dematic solutions.
• Assist in pre-commissioning of non-standard/third-party solutions under guidance and supervision
• Assist in the design of semi-complex systems that integrate hardware and software.
• Promote ideas for productivity improvement, cost reduction and customer satisfaction.
• Promote continuous improvement of processes to achieve improved time, cost and quality of project delivery.
• Lead commissioning/design efforts for semi-complex areas with assistance.
• Participate in the PLC software design.
• Participate in on-site commissioning.
• Develop and test PLC emulation for semi-complex systems.
• Provide hotline support.
• Support host integration and post-go-live on site.

Tasks and Qualifications:

• Complete pre-commissioning (electrical commissioning) of standard Dematic solutions, per discipline.


• Participate in pre-commissioning of non-standard/third-party solutions under guidance and supervision


• Participate in the design of semi-complex systems that integrate hardware and software.


• Participate in recommending ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction and improvement in customer satisfaction.


• To promote personal and business continuous improvement and development of processes to achieve improved time cost and quality or project delivery.


• Lead commissioning/design efforts for semi-complex areas with assitance.


• Participates in the PLC software design


• Participate in commissioning on-site


• Participate in software PLC emulation development and testing of semi-complex systems


• Participation in Hotline support


• Participate in host integration and postgolive support on site

Requirements:

• Studies related to Electrical/Controls Engineering


• Experience in a similar role


• Good understanding of PLC, HMI, SCADA development and commissioning software


• Hands-on experience with electrical commissioning.


• Good understanding of Electrical and Electronic technical manuals & drawings


• Understanding of distributed control systems desirable not essential


• Understanding of automated warehouse desirable not essential


• Ability to travel to customer sites, both domestically and internationally (60-80%).


• Full driver's license to support the travel requirements of the role.
