Canva in Spain seeks a Motion Designer & Video Editor to lead motion work and deliver performance-driven content for Meta, TikTok and YouTube. You’ll translate briefs into engaging assets, and iterate weekly using performance data. Expect fast feedback loops, collaboration with marketing, and active exploration of AI tools to push creative boundaries.

You will contribute to both performance and brand assets, maintaining high polish while moving quickly to capitalize on social trends across Spain.

Formación

• 3–5 years of motion design experience with a portfolio showing shipped work across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Strong fluency in After Effects or similar motion design software and ability to take a brief from concept to delivery independently.
• Solid video editing skills in CapCut, Canva Video, and/or Premiere Pro with a social-first cut mindset.
• Real interest in social media; native understanding of platform-specific storytelling and engagement tactics.
• Comfort with a fast feedback loop and ability to adjust work based on weekly performance data.
• Experience editing creator content into performance-tuned social work and finding hooks in raw footage.
• Some graphic design literacy to step into static asset work when needed.
• A working curiosity about AI tooling and a habit of experimenting with it in your craft.
• Proficiency in Spanish and good English, with a sense of cultural resonance in local creative work.

• Create work that performs and use data to improve it week by week.
• Set the bar for performance creative in Spain across social and YouTube.
• Build world-class YouTube assets that compete with the best paid creative on the platform.
• Recut creator content with a feel for the platform, turning raw footage into native-feeling work.
• Design motion assets across both performance and brand, balancing polish and speed.
• Support the broader marketing team with flexible craft for lifecycle, events, partnerships, and brand campaigns.
• Pushed the modern toolset hard by experimenting with AI and other advanced motion tools.
