Job summary

Mortgage Direct, part of the Huspy family, is seeking a Mortgage Trainer - Area Manager to drive territorial expansion by sourcing, building, training, and leading a network of self-employed Mortgage Advisors specializing in non-resident mortgages.

Based in Valencia or Madrid, you will connect banks, advisor networks, and clients to deliver fast, transparent financing solutions while scaling our international mortgage brokerage footprint across Spain.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of the Spanish mortgage market with a focus on non-residents/expats.
• Proven track record in attracting, training, and leading sales teams.
• English fluency (native or professional); Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Network development and expansion across target regions (Costa Blanca, Valencia, Catalonia, Balearic Islands).
• Onboarding and training of Mortgage Advisors to ensure top-tier non-resident mortgage expertise.
• Lead, motivate and mentor the contractor network to meet business goals and maintain high standards.
• Serve as the primary liaison for the B2B team to align banking, advisor operations and client needs.

About The Role

As a Mortgage Trainer - Area Manager, you will be the strategic engine behind our territorial expansion. Your primary mission will be sourcing, building, training, and leading a network of Mortgage Brokers (self-employed professionals) specialized in processing non-resident mortgages.

We are looking for someone based in Valencia or Madrid with a strong business vision, a passion for talent development, and an exceptional ability to connect all the pieces of the mortgage puzzle (banks, advisor network, and clients).

The Main Event: What You’ll Drive, Build, and Own

• Network development & expansion: Identify and attract independent professionals (self-employed Mortgage Advisors) to expand the company's presence across Costa Blanca, Valencia, Catalonia, and the Balearic Islands.
• Onboarding & training excellence: Design and deliver initial and ongoing training for collaborators to ensure top-tier specialization in the non-resident mortgage market.
• Leadership, support & development: Guide, motivate, and mentor these professionals on a daily basis, ensuring high quality standards while helping them maximize performance and achieve their business goals.
• Strategic B2B liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for the B2B team to guarantee seamless alignment between banking institutions, Mortgage Advisor operations, and end-client needs.

• Industry experience: Solid understanding of the Spanish mortgage market, with a strong focus on non-residents / expats.
• Commercial leadership: Proven track record in attracting, training, and driving sales teams.
• Languages: English (Native or professional level), Spanish is a plus.
