Ubisoft Barcelona Mobile is seeking a Game Designer to help define game specifications from concept to launch and to continuously refine games for retention and monetization on mobile platforms. The role emphasizes balancing live features, data-driven iteration, and collaboration with producers, developers, and translators.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in game design, experience with F2P mobile games, and strong English communication. A Spain work permit is required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years as a game designer.
• Experience designing free-to-play RPGs, with strong live balancing.
• Understanding engagement and monetization KPIs.
• Ability to analyze gameplay mechanics for mobile games.
• Knowledge of F2P monetization strategies.

Responsibilities

• Design and create new features, systems, and content for mobile games.
• Own tuning and balancing of gameplay systems and content.
• Take ownership of features end to end from concept to live iteration.
• Play testing and data analysis to optimize player experience.
• Collaborate with team to implement systems into gameplay.
• Coordinate with translators to ensure quality translations.
