Job summary

Ubisoft Barcelona Mobile is seeking a talented Game Designer to help shape exciting mobile titles from concept to launch. You will define features, tune systems, and refine experiences to maximize retention and monetization across a social gaming audience.

The role requires at least 3 years in game design, with a focus on free-to-play RPGs and mobile KPIs. Spanish is a plus, and Spain work permit is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of game design experience.
• Experience designing free-to-play RPGs.
• Balance live gameplay systems (progression, difficulty).
• Understanding engagement and monetization KPIs.
• Ability to analyze gameplay mechanics for mobile games.
• Knowledge of F2P monetization strategies.
• Ability to design level systems & gameplay features.
• Spanish language ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and create features and content with producers, developers, and artists.
• Tune gameplay systems and ensure fairness as new features launch.
• Own features end to end from concept to release and iterate.
• Play test via data and player feedback to optimize experiences.
• Collaborate to implement systems into gameplay and balance loops.
• Coordinate with translators to ensure quality translations.
