InterContinental Barcelona is seeking a skilled Cook for Quirat, our Michelin-starred restaurant, to deliver exceptional culinary experiences with high-quality ingredients. You will support the kitchen team, maintain high standards of presentation, and contribute to a premium dining experience for guests.

The role requires passion for gastronomy, experience in luxury hospitality, and a strong commitment to cleanliness and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Passion for gastronomy and a genuine interest in working in a Michelin-starred environment.
• Previous experience as a Cook in a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel is highly valued.
• Culinary studies or professional training in Gastronomy, Culinary Arts, or a similar field.
• Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and hygiene standards.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• EU passport or valid work permit to work in Spain.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes, quality standards, and the restaurant’s specifications.
• Work with high-quality ingredients, ensuring excellent preparation, handling, and presentation.
• Support the Chef and kitchen team throughout the service, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
• Maintain consistency and attention to detail in every dish served.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Control portions and food usage to minimize waste and maximize product quality.
• Keep your workstation and kitchen areas clean, organized, and ready for service.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and other departments to ensure seamless service.
• Contribute to a positive team environment, supporting colleagues and maintaining high standards throughout the operation.
• Be ready to learn, develop your skills, and contribute to the continuous pursuit of culinary excellence.
