Grand Hyatt Barcelona is seeking a motivated Commis Chef to join our Culinary team. You will assist in preparing and presenting dishes, maintain hygiene, and support senior chefs to ensure outstanding guest experiences.

The role is permanent and involves a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays. We welcome those who are passionate about gastronomy, eager to learn, and committed to culinary excellence within a world-class brand.

Formación

• Basic training in culinary arts, including having studied some cooking and pastry.
• Previous kitchen experience is a plus.
• Passion for cooking and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to recipes and standards.
• Ensure proper mise en place for each service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control.
• Contribute to maintaining consistency and quality in all dishes.
• Participate in kitchen briefings and training sessions.
• Work efficiently under pressure during service.
