The Ritz-Carlton Barcelona is seeking an experienced culinary professional to prepare meals, regulate oven temperatures, and ensure correct portions, presentation, and food quality according to recipes and standards.

You will assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching staff, uphold safety policies, maintain confidentiality, and embody the Gold Standards to deliver exceptional guest experiences daily.

Formación

• Experience in professional kitchen settings is preferred.
• Ability to work under time pressure and maintain quality.
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare special meals or substitute items.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
• Pull food from freezer to thaw in the refrigerator and ensure proper portioning and garnish.
• Maintain food logs and monitor quality and quantity of prepared dishes.
• Communicate needs during busy periods and inform Chef of excess food items for specials.
• Inform staff of menu specials and out-of-stock items; ensure food quality and presentation standards.

Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
