Genea Biomedx is seeking a Software & Hardware Field Service Engineer based in Spain. The role covers installation, commissioning, and ongoing technical support of medical devices across Europe, with close liaison to the China R&D team. You will develop software in C++/Qt on Windows/Linux, troubleshoot hardware, and ensure system integration and compliance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Biomedical Eng or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in software, medical devices, automation equipment, or related technical field.
• Proficiency in C++ and Qt/QML with software development, debugging, and maintenance experience.
• Familiarity with Windows/Linux environments and independent software installation and troubleshooting.
• Strong software and hardware technical capabilities including electrical systems, sensors, motion control, and communications.
• Fluency in English and Chinese; Spanish is preferred; willingness to travel across Europe.

Responsabilidades

• Install, commission, and provide onsite and remote technical support for medical devices in Spain and Europe.
• Develop and maintain software using C++/Qt on Windows/Linux and perform testing and debugging.
• Lead or support system integration of software and hardware, troubleshoot PLCs, CAN Bus, sensors, and controls.
• Act as the technical interface between European customers/field teams and the China R&D team; document issues clearly.
• Prepare installation and failure analysis reports, participate in CAPA activities, and support quality systems.
• Provide customer training and travel throughout Europe as required.
