Genea Biomedx is seeking a Software Field Service Engineer to install, commission, and support medical devices across Spain and Europe. You will develop software on Windows/Linux using C++ and Qt/QML, diagnose complex issues, and lead hardware/software integration including PLCs and CAN Bus.

Extensive travel and collaboration with China R&D are required. The role combines hands‑on field service with software development and system integration, demanding strong troubleshooting and documentation

Formación

Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/Software/Engineering or related discipline.
At least 5 years of experience in software, medical devices, automation equipment, or related field.
Proficiency in C++ and Qt/QML; experience in Windows/Linux environments.
Able to perform software installation, configuration, log analysis, and troubleshooting independently.
Strong hardware and software integration knowledge across devices and systems.
Willingness to travel across Spain and Europe for customer-site work.

Responsabilidades

Onsite installation, commissioning, acceptance, and technical support of medical devices in Spain and Europe.
Develop and maintain medical device software on Windows/Linux; work with C++/Qt/QML.
Lead or support system integration between software and hardware, including PLCs and CAN Bus.
Provide remote and onsite technical support to ensure reliable operation of equipment.
Coordinate with China R&D for issue resolution and upgrades.
Prepare technical documentation and training for customers and teams.
