Job summary

Costa Navarino is seeking a Manager, In Room Dining to lead the daily IRD operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences at our luxury resort in Messinia, Greece.

You will manage the IRD team, coordinate with culinary and hotel departments, and uphold hygiene and service standards while driving efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory or managerial Food & Beverage role, preferably in In‑Room Dining or a luxury hotel.
• Proficiency in POS systems and hotel management software (Micros Simphony, Opera).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent guest service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Manager, In Room Dining to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute, learn and grow while helping shape the experiences and impact we create across Costa Navarino.

In this position, you will lead the daily operation of In-Room Dining, ensuring seamless service delivery and a consistently high-quality guest experience. You will combine strong leadership with a hands‑on approach to team management and daily operations, maintaining high service standards throughout the guest journey.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the In-Room Dining department, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Lead, motivate and support the IRD team, maintaining high standards of service and professionalism.
• Ensure guest orders are delivered accurately, promptly and according to established service standards.
• Handle guest requests, feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring effective service recovery when required.
• Coordinate closely with culinary and other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Monitor staffing levels, schedules and daily operational needs.
• Support the training, development and performance of team members.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety and operational standards.
• Monitor departmental performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and the overall guest experience.
• Support inventory control, equipment management and cost awareness within the department.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial Food & Beverage role, preferably within In-Room Dining or a luxury hotel environment.
• Proficiency in POS systems and hotel management software, such as Micros Simphony and Opera.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Very good command of English; additional languages will be considered an advantage.
• Flexibility to work shifts according to operational needs.
