Costa Navarino in Messinia, Greece, is seeking an Assistant Waiter/Waitress to contribute to a seamless guest experience. In this role you will support the Food & Beverage team with attentive service and hospitality.

The position requires a High School Diploma and good command of English; you will multitask in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with a diverse team, and participate in ongoing training.

Aufgaben

• Anticipate and respond to guests’ needs in a proactive, positive and professional manner.
• Prepare and organize service areas and equipment according to the daily operational needs of the outlet.
• Ensure tables and chairs are clean, sanitized and properly prepared for service.
• Support order taking and the service of food and beverages.
• Develop good menu knowledge and communicate guests’ special requests, allergies, dietary requirements and preferences to the relevant Food & Beverage and Culinary teams.
• Complete assigned tasks during the shift and provide an effective handover to colleagues.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and ensure work areas remain clean, organized and tidy.
• Assist with food and beverage preparation and other operational tasks when required.
• Follow company policies, food safety and Health & Safety requirements, operational procedures and service standards.
• Participate in company training and remain updated on relevant hospitality trends and best practices.
