Obsidian is seeking detail-oriented Malayalam annotators to build training data for document AI. You will work with diverse Malayalam documents, from handwritten forms to multi-column layouts, ensuring every region is correctly bounded, typed and transcribed character-for-character.

You will follow a strict taxonomy, review colleagues, and flag unreadable pages. Native fluency in Malayalam, excellent orthography, and a disciplined, methodical approach are essential for success.

Formación

• Native Malayalam speaker with full command of the script and its conjunct forms.
• Experience with document annotation, transcription, localization, or QA.
• Excellent attention to detail; character-level accuracy is essential.
• Systematic approach with consistent taxonomy across pages.

Responsabilidades

• Open and check a task: confirm page is Malayalam, legible, has content, and shows no personal details.
• Annotate structure by bounding every meaningful region and assigning a type and reading-order index.
• Record relationships by linking regions to their parent figure or table.
• Transcribe faithfully, reproducing text exactly in Malayalam, including handwritten content.
• Capture page metadata: language, document type, source, dimensions, and flags for tables, formulas and handwriting.
• Review a colleague's work through second-expert review.
