FashionUnited is seeking a Maintenance Specialist for its Property & Network Development Team in Madrid. You will be responsible for all maintenance operations across Spain and Portugal, managing corrective and preventive maintenance while ensuring service continuity and cost control.

The ideal candidate should have 5–7+ years of experience in retail multi-site maintenance, possess a technical degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, and have a solid background in HVAC and electrical systems. This role offers a hybrid work model and an attractive discount program after 3 months of employment.

Joining our Property & Network Development Team in Madrid, you will be in charge of operational management of retail maintenance activities across in Spain and Portugal – aproximatly 220 stores.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As Maintenance Specialist, you will take full ownership of maintenance operations in Iberia, ensuring service continuity, supplier performance and cost control, while supporting the department’s evolution toward a more structured and governance-driven operating model.

YOUR MAIN MISSIONS WILL BE AS THE FOLLOWING:

• Take full ownership of corrective and preventive maintenance across Iberia.
• Manage HVAC systems and seasonal risk mitigation (especially summer peak periods).
• Act as escalation point for critical incidents (store downtime, safety issues, major technical failures).
• Manage maintenance budget within the annual framework defined by the department.
• Monitor costs by category and supplier, validating quotations and interventions.
• Manage and monitor supplier performance based in SLA, KPIs, service quality.
• Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions.
• Support implementation of the new ticketing system and structured reporting model.
• Contribute to reducing reactive workload through stronger preventive planning.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

• 5–7+ years of experience in retail multi-site maintenance, preferably in fast-moving retail.
• Technical degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture.
• Strong technical background in HVAC, electrical systems and retail installations.
• Experience in supplier and operational budgets management.
• Strong technical problem-solving capability.
• Ability to work under pressure in complex environments.
• Structured, detail-oriented and highly accountable.
