A leading company in industrial machinery in Spain seeks a Maintenance Engineer to drive maintenance strategy and ensure optimal equipment performance. In collaboration with the Maintenance Manager, you will oversee preventive maintenance, inventory management, and adherence to safety regulations. Ideal candidates have a degree in Industrial Maintenance, 2-3 years of experience in relevant industries, and proficiency in both Spanish and English. Formación

• 2–3 years of experience in maintenance departments, preferably in food/pharmaceutical sector.
• Commitment to safety and reliability.
• Availability outside of working hours when necessary.

Responsabilidades

• Define and implement the site's maintenance strategy.
• Manage the maintenance department's spare parts inventory.
• Develop and execute a preventive maintenance plan.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
• Support the maintenance team in daily operations.

Conocimientos

Proficiency in Spanish and English

Your Mission:

Working hand in hand with the Maintenance Manager, you will be the driving force behind the maintenance strategy, leading initiatives that make a real impact on safety, quality, and performance.

What You Will Do:

• Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to define and implement the site's maintenance strategy.
• Act as a key user of the SAP Plant Maintenance module, supporting its proper implementation.
• Manage and optimize the maintenance department's spare parts inventory.
• Develop and execute a preventive maintenance plan.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
• Support and guide the maintenance team in daily operations.
• Evaluate, Approve and monitor suppliers and MRO materials.
• Create purchase orders and contracts for maintenance tasks.
• Contribute to the execution of CAPEX projects and continuous improvement.

What We Are Looking For:

• Degree in Industrial Maintenance Engineering or similar.
• 2–3 years of experience in maintenance departments, preferably in the food or pharmaceutical sector.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety and reliability.
• Availability outside of working hours when necessary.

Your Skills and Tools:

• Proficiency in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
• Experience with SAP (CNMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of industrial automation.
