DXC Technology is seeking a Senior Mainframe Network System Programmer to manage and protect network infrastructure within IBM z/OS environments. You will install, configure, and optimize z/OS network services, ensuring connectivity for mission-critical applications while collaborating with global teams.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in Mainframe Network Systems Programming or Administration.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Experience with IBM z/OS Communications Server, TCP/IP, VTAM/SNA, APPN/HPR, and Enterprise Extender.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain z/OS network software and services.
• Manage and optimize TCP/IP and VTAM/SNA environments for performance and reliability.
• Ensure network security, resilience, and operational stability across mainframe environments.
• Troubleshoot complex connectivity and performance issues using z/OS diagnostics and monitoring tools.
• Support migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and disaster recovery activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams and vendors on network infrastructure initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior team members.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to support business-critical services.
