Job summary

ZEST Resort & Spa in Ibiza is seeking a proactive Reservations Manager to lead the reservations team from day one of opening. You will oversee day-to-day enquiries, ensure accurate bookings and deliver a personalised guest experience, working closely with Revenue Management, Sales and Front Office.

Reporting to the Director of Revenue Management, you will embed processes in MEWS, develop pre-opening procedures, and drive direct bookings while maintaining excellent guest relationships across

Qualifications

• Experience leading a reservations team in luxury hotels or resorts.
• Knowledge of hotel reservations systems; MEWS experience desirable but not essential.
• Strong leadership style and ability to develop others.
• Commercial awareness: booking channels, rates, revenue management.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail; strong communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train and develop the reservations team with clear service standards.
• Establish pre-opening procedures, booking workflows and quality checks.
• Oversee reservations for rooms and villas, including amendments, cancellations and deposits.
• Manage telephone, email and online enquiries with focus on responsiveness and conversion.
• Ensure accurate application of rates and booking conditions in MEWS.
• Support pricing, availability and inventory controls with Revenue Management.
• Identify opportunities to increase direct bookings and upsell experiences.
• Coordinate group and negotiated bookings with Sales and operations.
• Monitor enquiry conversion, response times and team performance.
• Resolve booking queries and complaints professionally and with care.
• Communicate guest preferences and special requirements to Front Office.
