SLS Barcelona, a five-star urban resort, seeks a Reservations intern to support the reservations team. Reporting to the Reservations Manager, you will assist guests with reservations, provide tailored recommendations, and ensure a smooth booking journey.

You will handle requests, verify details, update guest profiles, and collaborate with Sales, Front Office and Finance to maintain rate parity and inventory.

Formación

• Candidates must be studying hospitality management or a related field.
• Commitment of preferably 6 months with school agreement.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English, Spanish and French.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Handle all guest room reservation requests, modifications, and cancellations following policies.
• Assist guests with enquiries, offering personalized recommendations for bookings.
• Ensure reservation accuracy across all details including channels and profiles.
• Communicate guest preferences and special requests to Front Office for smooth operations.
• Identify discrepancies in rate mapping or offers and escalate to Revenue Manager.
• Monitor and follow up on potentially fraudulent reservations to protect revenue.
• Manage no-shows and non-guaranteed reservations to maximize occupancy.
• Support distribution channels to maintain rate parity and align with commercial strategy.
• Coordinate with Sales, Front Office, Concierge, Finance and other stakeholders.
• Drive upselling opportunities within guidelines to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.
