Job summary

Ubisoft Barcelona Mobile is seeking a Senior/Lead Game Designer to define and drive the overall game design vision for mobile F2P titles. You will lead a design team, mentor members, and manage the design process from planning through delivery of features and systems, balancing creative ambitions with production realities.

You will work to ensure a data-informed approach, design economy and monetization systems, and strong player progression, while coordinating with programming, art, and UX

Qualifications

• Fluent English is mandatory.
• Senior or Lead Game Designer on F2P with at least one full release cycle on Mobile/F2P including LiveOps.
• Extensive knowledge of F2P mobile gaming industry and current trends.
• Proficient in UX, level design, system design with social multiplayer, monetization strategies.

Responsibilities

• Define, structure, and drive the game design vision with the core team.
• Lead, mentor, and support designers, upholding high-quality design standards.
• Own the design process from planning to delivery of features and systems.
• Balance creative goals with production constraints for reliable planning.
• Design gameplay systems, economy, monetization, and player progression.
• Align direction across disciplines and communicate decisions to stakeholders.
• Utilize data and KPIs to guide design decisions in a live environment.
