CoverGo | Insurtech is seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer to drive the technical vision, architecture, and execution of our enterprise‑grade insurance platform. You will lead a team, mentor peers, and champion AI‑driven capabilities to push industry boundaries.

You will guide development standards, ensure scalable design, and align tech initiatives with business goals while delivering impactful, intelligent solutions across the stack.

Formación

• Demonstrated leadership in a technical role, mentoring engineers and delivering complex SaaS apps.
• 8+ years of hands‑on full‑stack experience with Node.js and related tech.
• Proficiency in Node.js, Vue.js, GraphQL, MongoDB, Docker, and TypeScript.
• Solid track record building AI‑driven features using APIs and ML models.
• Strong understanding of AI concepts (NLP, recommender systems, chatbots, automation).
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and designing scalable, resilient cloud apps.
• Familiarity with TDD, unit/integration/functional testing and automation.
• Solid understanding of OOP, SOLID, and software design patterns.
• Knowledge of web security best practices and regulatory compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the end‑to‑end development lifecycle of our SaaS platform, aligning with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of Full Stack Engineers through coaching and knowledge sharing.
• Define and drive the AI integration strategy with product and data teams to deliver AI powered features.
• Evaluate AI models/frameworks and oversee AI POC development to validate ideas.
• Collaborate with product, design, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Set architecture direction and coding standards to ensure scalable, reliable software.
• Lead code reviews and promote testing and automation to improve quality.
• Identify technical debt and bottlenecks, driving optimization across the system.
• Champion security and regulatory compliance initiatives across the platform.
• Stay updated with tech trends and advocate adoption where relevant.
