UST is seeking a Tech Lead with solid Java and BRMS experience to join a strategic banking project. You will oversee a critical application, collaborating with business, technical, and operations teams to ensure stability and performance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Responsabilidades

• Own and manage a critical business application, ensuring stability, performance, and availability.
• Act as the main contact for business, technical, and operational stakeholders.
• Coordinate incidents, changes, risk assessments, and application lifecycle activities.
• Monitor application health, capacity, and performance, driving continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and enterprise architecture teams on solution design and modernization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with security, architecture, cloud, and integration standards.

Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Tech Lead with solid experience in Java and Business Rules Management Systems (BRMS), such as Actico Rules, Drools, IBM ODM, FICO Blaze, or similar technologies. You will join a strategic project in the banking sector, working with a critical internal application based on the Actico Rules technology stack.

Location

Hybrid. Madrid city center (Sol area). 3 days a week in the office. Language : English is a must. Spanish desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage a critical business application, ensuring stability, performance, and availability.
• Act as the main contact for business, technical, and operational stakeholders.
• Coordinate incidents, changes, risk assessments, and application lifecycle activities.
• Monitor application health, capacity, and performance, driving continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and enterprise architecture teams on solution design and modernization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with security, architecture, cloud, and integration standards.

Mandatory Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience supporting banking applications, preferably in Front Office or Middle Office environments.
• Strong knowledge of application monitoring, integrations (Web Services, MQ, File Transfer), and incident management.
• Hands‑on experience with Java-based applications, Oracle Database, SQL, and Git.
• Knowledge of Actico Rules (or similar technologies) operations and enterprise architecture principles.
• Fluent English, strong stakeholder management, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Compliance, Risk, or Regulatory domains.
• Knowledge of Visual Rules / Actico Rules certifications or training.
• Experience with cloud migration and cloud-native environments.
• Familiarity with observability, API design, and modern integration architectures.
• Experience in application modernization or microservices initiatives.
• German language skills.

Work schedule

Business Hours. No intensive working days for Friday or summer.
