Amentum seeks a Crane Operator/Rigger Foreman to support a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. You will oversee crane operations, supervise rigging crews, and ensure safety and compliance with NAVFAC P-307.

The role requires leadership, safety focus, and international travel ability. Work location is Diego Garcia; candidates must hold a valid passport, be able to obtain necessary visas, and meet medical deployment requirements.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating cranes and performing rigging operations.
• Training and certification per NAVFAC P-307.
• Passport valid and eligible for international travel.

Responsabilidades

• Operate cranes safely in accordance with NAVFAC P-307 and other standards.
• Supervise rigging personnel during crane and lifting operations.
• Ensure rigging activities meet safety requirements and guidelines.
• Provide training and oversight to riggers as required.
• Familiarize rigging personnel with NAVFAC P-307 hand signals and comms.
• Inspect rigging equipment and remove unsafe gear from service.
• Prepare and review lift plans for safety and mission readiness.
• Coordinate daily work and monitor progress; report issues.
