Amentum is seeking a Contracts Manager to support a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. You will lead contract development, negotiations, and lifecycle management, ensuring regulatory compliance and effective risk management to maximize profitability.

Responsibilities include advising on complex contractual matters, reporting costs and milestones, reviewing terms, and coordinating with operations. A valid US clearance is required for deployment and travel.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in a DOD OCONUS contract environment, with at least five (5) years of experience supporting government contracts.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an austere or multinational environment preferred.
  • Experience managing multiple contract types: Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursable, Time and Material, Federal Schedule, and more.
  • Must be familiar with government programs and requirements.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead contract development, negotiation, execution, and lifecycle management for a variety of contracts.
  • Provide expert guidance on contractual obligations, regulatory compliance, risk management, and contract performance.
  • Advise management on complex contractual matters, including limitation of liability, terminations, payment terms, and dispute resolution.
  • Partner with the Program Management Office to understand and support operational requirements and objectives.
  • Monitor contractor performance, deliverables, and milestones; manage contract amendments, renewals, file management, and closeout procedures.
  • Oversee contract administration activities to maximize profitability and accelerate cash collection.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and guidance regarding contractual rights, obligations, and risks.
  • Lead contract negotiations and manage contract activities to ensure proper acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Business Management teams to track and accurately report project costs, schedules, risks, and opportunities.
  • Participate in proposal development, with an emphasis on reviewing terms and conditions, assessing risk, and developing pricing strategies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contract status, compliance, modifications, deviations, negotiations, and terminations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate contract execution through proactive communication and coordination.
  • Analyze and interpret federal procurement regulations, including FAR and DFARS requirements.
  • Maintain accurate contract documentation and records within the organization’s electronic contract management system.
  • Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to promote continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Manage multiple task orders across various contract types, including Time & Materials and Firm Fixed Price contracts.
  • Oversee contract closeout activities.
  • Support Amentum’s goals, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive contract and customer information.
  • Participate in audits, internal reviews, and other compliance activities as required.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned that are consistent with the nature and level of the position.
