Amentum seeks a Warehouse Specialist / Forklift Operator to support a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role involves receiving and inspecting shipments, maintaining inventory, and operating forklifts in a demanding, remote setting.

Proficiency in safety, documentation, and MS Office is essential. Qualified candidates have 2–3 years in warehousing, 1–2 years forklift experience with certification, and the ability to meet medical, security, and deployment requirements for a remote overseas

Formación

• 2–3 years of warehouse experience or similar material-handling role.
• 1–2 years forklift experience with valid certification/licensing.
• Knowledge of safety procedures for warehouse operations and equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments with proper documentation.
• Maintain organized storage and inventory levels per standards.
• Safely operate forklifts and other handling equipment.
• Pick, pack, and prepare materials for outgoing shipments.
• Load/unload trucks and ensure accurate receipt/dispatch.
• Perform cycle counts and reconcile stock discrepancies.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with departments/vendors for proper storage and delivery.
• Maintain inventory logs and generate reports for auditing.
• Adhere to PPE, forklift certification, and HAZMAT requirements as applicable.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and report equipment issues.
• Support inventory control and stock rotation for perishable goods.
