Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a seasoned Cost Manager/QS in Valencia, Spain, to lead cost planning, pre- and post-contract activities, and client liaison on complex projects in energy, data centers, pharma, and oil & gas sectors.

The role requires at least 5 years of cost estimation experience, fluency in Spanish and English, and strong leadership to drive cost control and value engineering across medium to high complexity projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience preparing cost estimates.
• Experience in Energy, Data center, Pharma, Oil and Gas preferred.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Strong knowledge across pre-contract, post-contract, and final accounts.
• Understanding of civil, structural, and architectural aspects in construction.
• Experience leading cost management on medium to high complexity projects.
• Experience advising on value management and life cycle costing.

Responsibilities

• Provide estimate and cost planning, including final cost plan.
• Estimate at conceptual, programming, and detailed levels.
• Manage procurement processes and bid analysis.
• Produce monthly post-contract cost reports to the client.
• Lead cost management team and support value engineering.
• Identify opportunities to develop business with existing clients.
