Job summary

Turner & Townsend Spain is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to join our Cost Management division in Madrid. You will work with clients across real estate and infrastructure, taking ownership of cost estimation, budgeting and value engineering on multiple projects.

The role offers the chance to progress quickly within a collaborative, professional team and to manage complex cost plans, procurement, and contracts while delivering tangible outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

• A recognized Degree Qualification.
• Relevant work experience as a QS or Cost Manager ideally in a consultancy environment.
• Sector experience across real estate construction projects.
• Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your clients and have the ability to work independently.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Spanish with excellent report and bid writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and develop good relationships with clients and stakeholders internally and externally
• Responsible for pre- and post-contract quantity surveying duties including preparation of cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variation, final account, etc.
• Estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan
• Tendering and procuring, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, putting the preliminaries together, tender analysis, producing the tender report and compiling the contractual documents
