Job summary

Amazon Road Transport Spain, S.L.U. is seeking a Shift Manager for AMZL to lead a high-velocity last mile operations team. You will drive real-time decisions, optimize route and labor planning, and ensure adherence to standard processes across daily tasks in a fast-evolving delivery network.

You will build scalable workflows, coach staff, and push cost, customer, and partner outcomes through data-driven improvements. This role supports EU initiatives and potential expansion in 2027.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Operations Research, Statistics, Engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Fluent English (C1+) required.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the team, ensuring tasks are completed on time following standard practices.
• Monitor and report on daily and weekly performance metrics.
• Analyze trends, identify performance gaps, and take corrective actions.
• Implement best practices to improve customer, cost, and delivery partner outcomes.
• Develop scalable processes and systems to achieve metrics, including temporary solutions for tech gaps.
• Create and drive scalable standard work enabling remote support of a complex area.
• Lead process-improvement initiatives through quantitative analysis and data-driven decisions.
• Create, manage, and support recognition and communication programs for the team.
• Support Rush test in Q4 2026 and potential expansion in 2027.
