Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Delivery Station Area Manager role in Spain focuses on leading a team across shifts to ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery. You will drive continuous improvements, mentor new managers, and collaborate with other leaders while upholding Amazon's Leadership Principles.

The role operates 24/7 in a high-volume environment, requiring strong analytical skills and fluency in Spanish and English.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Experience in people management.
  • Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Experience using data analysis to drive decisions.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (C1 or higher).

Operations is the beating heart of Amazon. As an Area Manager at a Delivery Station, this role sits at the centre of last-mile logistics, ensuring orders are fulfilled, dispatched, and delivered to customers on time and to the highest standard. The position involves leading a team focused on safety, efficiency, and quality, while driving continuous improvement projects across the operation.

Key job responsibilities
  • Build, oversee, and champion a culture of safety and associate wellbeing across all shifts
  • Analyse operational performance data and implement changes to maintain consistently high quality and productivity standards
  • Lead and manage process improvement projects to streamline workflows and optimise Delivery Station output
  • Evaluate shift performance against business objectives and define clear action plans to strengthen operational excellence
  • Collaborate with fellow managers to standardise best practices and ensure consistency across all shifts
  • Act as a role model and mentor to new and developing managers within the team
A day in the life

No two days are the same in a Delivery Station. Responsibilities span routine team management and daily operational tasks through to large-scale contingency planning and network-wide process improvement initiatives. The primary focus remains on owning a culture of safety, upholding quality standards, and ensuring each shift performs at its best. Mentoring emerging talent and role-modelling Amazon's Leadership Principles are equally central to the day-to-day experience.

About the team

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) manages last-mile delivery in partnership with third-party distribution businesses, combining creative thinking and continuous improvement to get millions of products into customers' hands. The mission is to deliver a seamless customer experience while rolling out innovative global delivery solutions, including Amazon Fresh and Prime Now.

The Delivery Station operates across two dimensions: an under-the-roof team that processes and dispatches millions of products daily, and an on-the-road network operating through Amazon Flex. The team runs 24/7 across most locations, with a strong people-first culture, particularly supporting associates on overnight shifts. Innovation is constant, from finding new ways to tackle industry logistics challenges to reducing the carbon footprint through advanced technology and a growing fleet of Electric Vehicles.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, or Advanced degree
  • Experience in people management
  • Experience working with multiple groups of stakeholders
  • Experience using data analysis to drive business decisions
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in Spanish and English at C1 level or above
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
  • Experience in warehouse operations and logistics or equivalent
  • Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment
