Responsibilities

Your role as a Labor Matters Specialist will involve:

• Analyze current work practices and policies (i.e., Equality Plan) to determine the overall state of employee relations and make changes to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Oversee legal contract terminology and suggest additional rules and regulations as necessary.
• Develop and present informational briefings for management to improve understanding of labor laws and promote management solutions.
• Advising on contract termination.

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Degree in Law and a Master's in labor relations or related field.
• Minimum 3-year experience in human resources or employee relations
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and oral
• Ability to effectively solve problems and make decisions
• Listening skills, as well as the ability to understand people's backgrounds and motives
• Ability to present information and have conversations with employees and managers from different levels
