Job summary

Satispay in Barcelona is seeking a KYC Analyst to ensure smooth onboarding while upholding risk-based, regulatory standards and a strong customer experience.

Key duties include due diligence with country knowledge, managing a daily case queue, assessing profiles for red flags, assisting customers by email, and conducting periodic reviews.

The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, analytical, and fluent in English; knowledge of AML/KYC procedures and Italian is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar KYC/AML role.
• Experience in a high-volume, metrics-driven KYC or customer support role.
• Knowledge of AML/KYC procedures.
• Fluent in English; Italian is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform due diligence – Ensure appropriate client documentation is captured and provide timely onboarding for new consumers, using country-specific knowledge to confirm identity document authenticity.
• Meet productivity and compliance targets – Manage a daily case queue and ensure consistent throughput while maintaining high-quality standards and SLAs.
• Analyse and assess profiles – Verify identities, identify potential red flags, and conduct detailed customer risk assessments, escalating high‑risk cases to the FinCrime team.
• Assist customers – Provide assistance primarily via email during the verification and activation process to ensure a smooth and efficient experience.
• Perform periodic reviews – Support refresh activities, re‑verifying customer information and reassessing risk when triggers occur.
• Utilise screening databases – Triage potential matches (PEP/sanctions/adverse media), reducing false positives through careful analysis and resolution.
