Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Córdoba, Spain is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support delivery of large-scale industrial projects on-site. You will assist with planning, scheduling, budgeting and MEP coordination, working with general contractors and clients to ensure milestones are met.

Ideal candidates bring a degree in construction or engineering and strong communication in English and Spanish. On-site availability and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Electrical / mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Experience in project management on construction projects, pref. industrial.
• Advanced skills in spreadsheets, report writing, and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Management team in planning, coordination and execution of complex industrial construction projects.
• Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and cost control with tracking of milestones and performance metrics.
• Provide support for coordination of MEP activities to align with project requirements.
• Coordinate activities across general contractors, subcontractors, vendors and stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, identify delays, and support corrective actions.
• Prepare, maintain and update project documentation including plans, reports and risk registers.
• Attend meetings, document decisions and follow up on actions.
• Support cost monitoring and budgeting activities and assist forecasting.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders, design teams, contractors and senior management.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks; support resource planning and team performance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve challenges and drive improvements.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, quality standards and health & safety requirements.

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Junior ProjectManager to support the delivery of large-scale industrial projects on-site.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in the delivery of complex industrial projects while working alongside experienced project and construction management professionals

Responsibilities:

• Support the Project Management team in the planning, coordination, and execution of complex industrial construction projects.
• Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and cost control processes, including the tracking and analysis of critical milestones, deliverables, and project performance metrics.
• Provide support in the coordination and oversight of Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) activities to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Coordinate project activities across general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and client stakeholders throughout all project phases.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and support the implementation of corrective actions.
• Prepare, maintain, and update project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk registers, meeting minutes, and action trackers.
• Attend project and stakeholder meetings, document key decisions and action items, and follow up on outstanding tasks.
• Support cost monitoring activities by tracking factors that may impact construction costs and assisting with budget management and forecasting.
• Facilitate effective communication between project stakeholders, design teams, contractors, and senior management.
• Assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks to support successful project delivery.
• Support resource planning and allocation to optimize project execution and team performance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to proactively resolve project challenges and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with project procedures, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Electrical / mechanicalEngineering or similar
• Experience in project management onconstruction projects, with a preference for industrial project experience.
• Advanced skills in spreadsheets, report writing, and presentations
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
• Understanding of project management principles and methodologies
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
• Availability for on-site work
