Job summary

Turner & Townsend is expanding in Spain and recruiting an experienced Project Manager to join the Valencia team. You will define strategy, manage procurement, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex infrastructure projects.

The role requires a degree in engineering/architecture and at least 5 years PM experience in a technical setting, with strong communication skills and fluency in Spanish and English. Office-based in Valencia with international exposure.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum of 5 years project management experience in a technical, complex environment.
• Understanding of the full project lifecycle from inception to post-project review.
• Strong knowledge of PM concepts, tools and techniques.
• Ability to thrive under high pressure and work in an international context.
• Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Define development strategy, procurement plan, and project-specific procedures (PEP).
• Monitor cost plan progress, master schedule, and risk register for accurate forecasts.
• Lead as primary client contact; coordinate consultants, designers and contractors.
• Ensure Quality Management System adherence by managing inspections and workflows.
• Prepare monthly status reports for client and Operations Management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Management:Define the development strategy, procurement plan, and project-specific procedures (PEP).
• Financial Control and Planning: Monitor the progress of the cost plan, master schedule, and risk register to ensure accurate forecasts.
• Leadership and Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact with the Client and coordinate consultants, designers, and contractors through effective communication strategies and meetings.
• Quality and Compliance: Ensure adherence to the Quality Management System by managing inspections, snag lists, and customized workflows in real time.
• Reporting: Prepare monthly status reports for the client and Operations Management, ensuring full transparency.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering or Architecture
• A minimum of 5years project management experience,gained within a technical complex environment
• A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from project inception stage, design, authority approvals through to construction completion and post-project review
• Excellent knowledge and experience of all of the main project management concepts, tools and techniques
• Ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment
• Strong communication skills and seeking to leverage their skills within an international professional context
• Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English
• Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your client
