Turner & Townsend Madrid is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee delivery of large-scale manufacturing projects, coordinating site operations, infrastructure readiness and project execution through pre-construction and construction stages.

You will work with clients, project managers, technical teams and contractors to ensure safety, quality, schedule and cost targets across the project lifecycle, leveraging digital reporting tools as appropriate.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Site Manager to support the delivery of large-scale Manufacturing projects. This role will play a key part in ensuring the successful coordination of site operations, infrastructure readiness, and project execution in pre-construction and construction stage.

Working within a fast-paced project environment, you will collaborate closely with clients, project managers, technical teams, and contractors to maintain safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in the delivery of civil construction packages, including structural works, roofing, and façade systems for a unique industrial facility.
• Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure efficient project execution.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of mechanical, electrical, and civil infrastructure works.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, risks, and resource requirements, ensuring proactive mitigation of issues.
• Drive effective cost and schedule control while maintaining project performance targets.
• Coordinate closely with project leadership, technical teams, and client stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
• Prepare and present project reports, status updates, and performance metrics using Microsoft Office tools.
• Contribute to process improvements and leverage digital and AI-enabled solutions for project planning and reporting where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Degree or qualification in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Approx. 5 years' experience in construction or project management; experience working on industrial construction projects is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of construction site operations, contractor management, and project controls.
• Experience in working in multidisciplinary teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in digital tools and AI-driven applications for planning, reporting, and project management would be an advantage.
• Fluent English and Spanish.
• Availability for on-site work.
