Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Madrid seeks an experienced MEP Design Manager to lead design delivery on a multidisciplinary project. You will drive the Design Management Plan and coordinate across Civil, Structural, Architectural, MEP and Process Engineering teams.

You will act as the central point of contact between Design & Build contractors, stakeholders and leadership, organise design reviews and ensure timely feedback and alignment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (BSc / MSc or equivalent)
• Lead Engineer or Design Manager experience in EPC
• Strong technical PM background in multidisciplinary environments
• Solid knowledge of cooling systems and electrical distribution
• Spanish and English fluency
• Experience in data centre projects is a strong advantage

Responsibilities

• Lead the Design Management Plan and ensure delivery
• Coordinate across Civil, Structural, Architectural, MEP, and Process Engineering
• Act as central contact between Design & Build contractors and leadership
• Organize design reviews and workshops
• Oversee design coordination and risk management
• Ensure design deliverables meet project requirements
• Support value engineering and safety-in-design reviews
• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, and technical approvals
• Contribute to Quality Control and planning integration
